I've loved Hitachi Backup for years but console seems to require Adobe Flash and has stopped working. Since Flash is no longer supported, is there any chance of an update coming out which will work without flash ?

It is possible for an update to be released in the future that will work without Adobe Flash. However, without further information or confirmation from the developers of Hitachi Backup, it is difficult to provide a definite answer. It would be advisable to reach out to Hitachi customer support or check for any official announcements regarding this matter.
I have Hitachi Backup version 1.0.5.59. Where can I get a user guide? I've tried to restore and the program is asking for a location.

The Hitachi Backup is not available anymore. The website that was supposed to lead to the downloads and homepage is not displaying something about Touro Backup. This could mean that Hitachi Backup was discontinued. I have also installed the application with the only version available and there was no user guide for the software as well.
I am having problems with my Hitachi backup. I disconnected my computer for a few days and when I reconnected everything my backup will not turn on. On the cloud settings is a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark and a scrolling bar that seems to be searching for something. I cannot access any of the links to reset up the back up. I have tried uninstalling and re-downloading the software, but it is still the same. I would be grateful for any help as it takes ages to back up manually.

The triangle may indicate a warning. While it's not an error, I believe the software can't connect to the Cloud servers. Try turning off the firewall (Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall) then reboot the PC and attempt to connect again. Secondly, check the proxy settings of your browsers, especially Internet Explorer, then try again to connect. Additionally, access the Services menu (Start > Run > Services) and locate Hitachi Backup in the list. If it's stopped, right click it and select Start. This could also be a problem with the software.
